Blueberries of Indiana

A family-owned u-pick and ready-pick blueberry farm in the far north-west corner of LaPorte County, near the Michigan line about 3 miles south of New Buffalo. Growing blueberries since 1948; the current family took the farm over in 2021, and 2026 is its first season as a USDA Certified Organic farm. Continuously trialling new varieties, with a large number on site. Also sells local honey, juice, preserves and maple syrup tapped from trees on the farm, with fresh baked items some weekends. Shaded picnic area but only a limited number of tables, and porta-potties rather than plumbed toilets; trolley rides run at weekends or when picking is a distance from the car park. No credit cards. Google now shows Friday to Sunday 8am-6pm, a change from the older daily-except-Tuesday pattern, so confirm before travelling. Reviewers through 2025 reported that the rejuvenated plantation left young, small bushes and thin yields, with one 4th of July visitor finding almost nothing ripe; berries are noted as cheaper than neighbouring farms.
