Bryant's Blueberries

A dedicated u-pick blueberry farm at New Salisbury in Harrison County, about half an hour from downtown Louisville, run by Derek and Samantha Bryant. Veteran and family owned; first blueberry plants set out in 1977, now roughly 8 acres. Several varieties ranging from tart to sweet on mature, heavy-bearing bushes, including Blue Crop, Late Blue, Blue Ray and Blue Jay; well-groomed rows. The farm's own site states plainly that they do not sell pre-picked berries or blueberry bushes. Bring your own buckets and weigh them before picking; bring your own water too. No pets and no smoking in the field; bug spray and aerosol sunscreen may only be applied in the car park. Always closed Sunday, and the farm closes for ripening when demand outruns supply, so daily hours vary and are posted rather than fixed. Nothing else on site - this is a working farm, not an agritourism destination, which several reviewers count as the appeal. The farm's website confirms the 2026 season has closed, with a much smaller crop than usual and a shorter season than normal. Season normally runs mid-June to mid-July at roughly $3/lb.
