Eenigenburg's Blueberries

A family-run u-pick and ready-pick blueberry farm on the south-east side of DeMotte in Jasper County, on State Road 10 between the two junctions of SR 10 and US 231. Also styled Eenigenburg's Blueberries - East Farm. Turn onto the gravel drive and carry on about 100 yards; the farm and shed sit behind Eenigenburg's Small Engine Repair and the bait shop. Rated 4.6 across 65 ratings, with reviewers regularly driving over an hour from Chicago and past several other blueberry farms to pick here. Open Monday to Saturday 7am-5pm, closed Sunday, with the season usually opening around the start of July. Hours move with the weather and the farm posts changes to its website - during a hot spell in July 2026 picking was cut to 7-11am for the week, so check before setting off. U-pick was closed for the 2026 season by late summer. Ready-picked berries work on a wait list: call ahead to get on it, and fresh orders must be collected the same day or they will freeze and hold them for you. Sold in 3lb, 5lb and 10lb containers, with 5lb bags of frozen berries too. Bring your own containers to take berries home. Restrooms are portable toilets, with hand-wash stations. IMPORTANT: there are two Eenigenburg blueberry farms at DeMotte and both warn visitors about the mix-up. This is the EAST farm on State Road 10 - if you find yourself turning onto Potato Shed Road or 15th Street you are heading to the other one, Eenigenburg's Berry Farm at 713 15th Ave NW on 219-987-2424, which is a separate business.
