Farview Orchards

An orchard at Mount Vernon in Posey County, in the far southwest corner of the state, run by the Blackburn family since 1965. 4.5 across 33 ratings. Pick-your-own strawberries, sour cherries and apples. Peaches, nectarines and plums are pre-picked only, sold at the stand rather than picked in the rows, which catches some visitors out. The farm also grows on a wholesale scale, so its fruit turns up in stores well beyond Indiana. There is no website and hours are posted on Facebook as crops come in. CALL BEFORE YOU DRIVE: pickers have been turned away on cold days, and the u-pick crops here have short windows. The farm is on Central time.
