Huber's Orchard, Winery & Vineyards

Indiana's largest agritourism farm and the state's biggest u-pick operation: around 700 acres farmed by the same family since 1843, when Simon Huber emigrated from Baden-Baden and settled here with apple trees ready to plant. Now seventh generation. U-pick apples late August through October, plus strawberries, blueberries, black raspberries, blackberries, peaches, grapes and pumpkins across the season, reached by tractor-pulled wagon. There is NO admission fee for u-pick and no reservation - check in at the Farm Market for a basket and a field assignment, and pay by weight for what you pick. Dogs are welcome on the outdoor areas of the property but are not allowed indoors or on the u-pick wagons. Weekday mornings in September are the quiet window; mid-September to mid-October has the most variety. The city is Borden - Starlight is an unincorporated community in Wood Township, Clark County, and postal addresses there are listed under nearby Borden. Not to be confused with Joe Huber's Family Farm & Restaurant, a separate business a mile away on Engle Road run by distant relatives.
