← All farmsA family orchard and roadside barn north of Bloomington on Old SR-37, a couple of minutes off the highway down a winding road, near Morgan-Monroe State Forest. Open Labor Day weekend through December, Wednesday to Sunday. 4.2 across 38 ratings. NOT a u-pick operation - no source describes picking here, and reviewers consistently frame it as a stop to buy rather than a destination to pick. Best known for award-winning apple cider pressed on site with an antique press - it is stocked at Bloomingfoods and Soma in Bloomington, and reviewers travel back for it and for caramel apples made fresh to order. Also apples, jams, popcorn, bittersweet, Indian corn and October pumpkins. Picnic tables and a back deck overlooking the orchard, well liked at sunset. Runs CoreFarms CSA, started in summer 2004 and serving over 100 families in recent seasons, with summer and autumn shares. Also hosts small weddings. Founded in the 1930s by Lester Musgrave, passed to son Robert then grandson Jeff. In 1998 the orchard was subdivided and partly sold to developers; a few years later it was sold to Andy and Amy Hamilton, who run it today - so the Musgrave name survives but the founding family no longer owns it. Reviewers note the site is not wheelchair accessible and the restrooms are rough. No credit cards - bring cash or a chequebook. No hours or phone number posted on Google.
