A 40-acre u-pick farm and market north-east of Noblesville, hosting up to 30,000 visitors a year. 4.6 across 509 ratings. Kyle Spencer and his wife Lori started with a strawberry patch on 10 acres rented from a neighbour in 1982, bought a larger farm, and brought son Mark into the business in 2014. U-pick strawberries, raspberries and pumpkins, with a hayride out to the pumpkin field; sunflowers and cut bouquets too. Apples and cider sold here are bought in from a local orchard, not grown on site. Picking is by the basket, which you buy on arrival at around $3.50 each, and pumpkins are sold by the pound rather than by the piece - which surprises out-of-state visitors but is normal in Indiana. Market carries all-natural beef, pork and chicken, Amish cheeses, house-made fudge, cinnamon roasted nuts, shortcakes, ice cream, pies, honey, maple syrup and apple slushes. Conventional growing practices, which the family states openly rather than claiming organic. Their website carries a live picking status per crop - You-Pick fields open or closed, and pre-pick availability - so it is worth checking before you go. Google lists Tuesday to Saturday 9am-6pm and Sunday noon-6pm, closed Monday. Spencer Farm Winery is a separate business on the same site at 7015 E 161st St, with its own phone number and different hours, opened October 2019 in a restored 1883 farmhouse with a vineyard first planted in 2015; reviews of the wine itself are mixed even among people who like the farm.
